I decided to get into personal training because I love people. I love asking questions, hearing people’s stories, and finding ways to help them move better and feel stronger. I’m interested in how we express ourselves through movement. I think movement helps us build connection - with ourselves, with the world, and with each other. I am passionate about the stuff that lies underneath - the why’s of what we do and who we are. Movement has helped me sort a lot of this out for myself. I hope to offer my passion for people and questions, giving my energy and attention to all of the folks that I get to work with. I feel really lucky that I get to do this as a job.

Personal Training

My clients are diverse, though I have particular expertise working with sport-specific skill development or injury rehab & prevention techniques (partnering with Kelsey often on this). I have my Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and thousands of hours of group fitness coaching experience. I have additional training in corrective exercise protocols and feel strongly about developing movement patterns well. I feel like once we do this, we can really see what our bodies are capable of! I love pretty much any sport (though, soccer takes the cake for me). You’ll find me curating the ambience at TRAIN Seattle with my music selection. I aim to keep training fun and accessible to those starting from any level.
